“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.”
Proverbs 31:8 NLT
By: Apostle Diann J. Wilson
In this world, there are many different types of personalities. There are the bold ones, the timid ones, the daring ones, the gentle ones. God in His infinite wisdom made us all. He made us all differently because He knew that each type was necessary for the smooth running of the world.
We may be bold and out-going, but I am sure we know or work among many who are afraid or unable to speak for themselves. As the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, we are able to display a boldness that is not common because the Word of God states that the righteous are as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). However, we must use our boldness to assist those who are not as bold.
It does not bring God any glory if we see injustice and refuse to get involved for fear of the consequences. We do not have to run to violence or anything negative. We can pray, which is the first thing we should do, and then with the help of the Lord, assist the unfortunate in anyway we can.
Do not be afraid to get involved to help someone who is unable to help themselves. God would reward your effort as you would be obeying His Word.
